New Project "The clown that lost his funny"

Hairy the Clown loves his job at the circus.  But one day, something tragic happens and he ends up losing his ability to be funny.  He's forced to get a job he doesn't like.  What happens next is really cool.

The Clown That Lost His Funny is a heartwarming story everyone will enjoy.
The Clown that Lost His Funny is a children's book written by Lauren. She's 11 years old and in the 5th grade. This project successfully raised its funding goal on Mar 16 on http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/391211598/lauren-age-11-publishes-the-clown-that-lost-his-fu

Hello Everyone....Happy Monday!!!

Hello Everyone!
It's been way too long since my last post as I was having some trouble on my blog due to problem at my internet service provider site. And also not been able to open other blog sites. Hopefully it is resolved now.

This is an illustration from a recent book that I am worked recently.
Now I am working another book with same author.

Lately I have joined SVS classes By Great Illustrator Will Terry and Jake Parker  and I must say the course it just AWESOME! Another Course SVS Critique Class is LIVE right now. The class is about half full already. Here is the link to know more about it:

I am not still completed the full classes but I am truly inspired to work hard to improve my art.
I set creative goals and I continuously challenge myself to become a better artist.
I want to reach a certain level of quality that I see in the work of people that I admire.

I've been sketching more than usual lately! Mostly they are animals birds.

Hope you all had a beautiful day! I'll be back next week with some more sketches.
Thank you for popping by my blog.

New book in Hand!

As an illustrators, we often have to wait for months and sometimes years to finally see the final product. It's such a great feeling holding a new book in my hand. It always brings back memories of all of the hard work that goes into illustrating a children's book.
Happy with the results!

Happy Valentine's Day to all my Dear Friends!!!

Friends are those people, without whom life will never be the same. They don't break up with you for silly reasons, neither do they throw stupid tantrums. They don't expect gifts all the time, nor are they fearful of commitment. They just love you unconditionally. Happy Valentines day to all my dear friends!!!

Illustration Friday: Ocean

Life is just too short not to enjoy it!
This time couldnt manage to do a fresh piece for Illustration Friday for "Ocean" as it was a busy hectic week with Ajanta Ellora trip and celebrating my Little daughter's seventh birthday and my birthday this monday as well!!! Not only have I now passed the halfway point of my thirties, but it’s a brand new year,I’ve been sitting here thinking of all the things I thought I would be doing in 2013 that I will not actually be doing.

Instead, I decided ...celebrate the small things, count your blessings, stay positive and do something outrageous for yourself! Last year was really tough on personal front with Dad not well from long time and he is still under lots of medications but I understand this is way of life with sad happy moments together !

we are responsible for our own happiness. It’s our own responsibility to make sure that our life is worth living. It’s our responsibility to take care of our happiness.
But being happy doesn’t come from the things we achieve or how far we’ve come.
It comes from being present and enjoying the journey.

Well excited about this year 2013 journey....got a new wacom intuos5 pen tablet from hubby as a birthday gift! ...Lots of creations on the way...!!!! Stay tuned!!

Enjoy my Ocean submission from a piece I did sometime back "Fisherman and his wife" for Edcons.

Thank you for your time!!!
Appreciate your visit and comment.
Good wishes to you all!!!   :-)
